So why did we give the Eco Nova our stamp of approval as the best new seat of the year?  There are many reasons!  Below we’ll attempt to share why we feel like this one of a kind seat is the best new seat of the year.

• Sleekest, lowest profile we’ve seen to date
  

  One of the most common complaints we get when it comes to bidet seats is that they are bulky and tall in the back, and thus ugly. There’s not a good workaround for this, as the hardware that makes the seat work has to be stored somewhere, and this hardware is not small.  Until now, TOTO’s high end S550e and S500e were the sleekest seats we had found. The Eco Nova has broken that record offering an even sleeker look, with a lower profile, making it barely more bulky than a standard toilet seat.

• Both silver nano AND UV sterilization
  

  It’s not uncommon to have a high end bidet seat offer silver nano or e-water in order to provide sterilization, but there are some high end seats that don’t offer sterilization at all, (like our very popular Bio Bidet BB-2000). It is pretty rare to see UV sterilization, and even more rare to see a seat offer TWO forms of sterilization like the Eco Nova does. If you’re looking for the most hygienic clean possible, the Eco Nova is the only seat we’re aware of that has multiple sterilization methods built into it.

• A durable feeling unit with a sittable lid rated at 400 pounds
  

  Bidet Seats are made out of one of two kinds of plastic, ABS plastic is the weaker and less expensive of the two, but is also more likely to break and crack. Higher end seats use polypropylene plastic, which is more expensive, but also more durable.  The Eco Nova uses this higher quality plastic, but also makes their plastic thick enough that it feels higher quality than any other seat we’ve tested in the 8 years we’ve been in business.  It’s new to the market, so time will tell how long it lasts, but we’re expecting it to be one of the longer lasting seats on the market.

• A remote that uses radio frequency instead of infrared
  

  The Eco Nova is the only seat we know of that uses a remote with Radio Frequency instead of Infrared like other bidet seats, which means no issues with dark walls, or small bathrooms. It also means being able to operate the bidet from outside the bathroom if you have to help a loved one with the bidet. If you have a small bathroom, dark walls, or your toilet is just tucked away behind a wall, nearly any bidet seat made (including popular brands like TOTO, American Standard, Kohler, Bio Bidet, and Brondell) have a chance of having remote connectivity issues. But there’s finally a bidet seat that solves this issue!  The Eco Nova’s radio frequency operation makes it what we expect to be the most problem free remote on the market today.

• A powerful air dryer
  

  While no bidet seat dryer is perfect, the Eco Nova’s dryer is one of the best we’ve come across.  If you’re trying to go completely toilet paper free, a good air dryer is a must, making the Eco Nova a solid choice.

Additional Highlights

The Eco Nova features standard front and rear washing, plus a “turbo wash” mode that supercharges the spray pressure. With a flow rate of 0.24 gallons per minute, the Eco Nova has one of the stronger wash sprays on the market, and its durable stainless steel nozzle has a rounded, rectangular tip for superior spray coverage. The unit is controlled with a sophisticated, intuitive remote control.

The Eco Nova is packed with comfort features including an instant water heater that produces unlimited warm water. Optional nozzle oscillation moves the wand back and forth for enhanced wash coverage, while the pulse (massage) wash quickly varies the temperature between hot and cold to relax sensitive areas.
